Benidorm centre and old town really do offer a contrast from the high rise blocks found in the background of the Levante and Rincon areas of this resort, with white washed houses, a maze of cobbled streets and traditional inviting bars, shops, café’s and restaurants aswell as tapas bars. In the old town you are in between the two main beaches the resort has on offer, so you can take your pick, whether you would like a quieter, more peaceful time at Poniente beach, or you fancy the liveliness of the beach bars at Levante beach, whichever beach you choose you are guaranteed to be on one of the best and cleanest in the Mediterranean. The old town in the evening has some low key bars, restaurants and a show or two, so if you’re after something livelier then head out to the Levante area of the resort.
