The resort of Porto Colom is on the rocky east coast of Mallorca, 65 km’s south east of Palma and its international airport. Porto Colom is still a small traditional fishing village with little commercial development. It consists of a harbour with a selection of shops, bar and restaurants, the resort is very popular with British visitors who still want the traditional values of a resort. There are a number of seafront restaurants and tapas bars on the beach serving regional cuisine and the nearby beaches of Cala Murada and Cala Marsal are popular for sunbathing and swimming.
